Snow? Already?

Two things:

1. At least two of the fires I've mapped or am awaiting imagery for got light snow yesterday. A cold front moved across the northwest and reached Salt Lake around 9 pm last night. This front brought increased fire activity due to downdrafts and really made some fires run like crazy. However, after the front passed, some fires got snow! That should slow things down for a few days.
   
2. I've now mapped 72 fires and over 1 million acres of fires this year. As far as the number of incidents goes, this will be our busiest year ever.
